Privacy Policy
Effective August 30, 2026
Ativra is provided by Happy AI Tech, LLP (“Ativra”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle information when you use the Ativra macOS app and ativra.ai.
Information we process
- Account information: your name, email address, account identifier, and sign-in provider.
- Google sign-in data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier.
- Google Calendar data: if you connect Google Calendar, we read your calendar list and events, including event titles, times, locations, attendees, and descriptions. Ativra does not request Gmail access or read Google email.
- Ativra content: notes, recordings, transcripts, summaries, connected calendar events, and content you choose to import.
- Technical information: app version, device and operating-system information, security logs, and diagnostics you choose to send.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, provide and sync Ativra, show upcoming meetings, name recordings, connect event details to notes and summaries, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests.
Storage and sharing
Ativra is local-first. Google OAuth credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain, and fetched calendar data is processed on your Mac. If you attach event details to an Ativra note or summary, those details become Ativra content and follow the cloud and sharing settings you choose.
We disclose information only to service providers needed to operate Ativra, to an AI provider you configure or use for a requested Ativra feature, when you direct us to share it, or when required by law.
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Google API data
Google Calendar access is read-only. Ativra does not create, change, or delete Google Calendar data, does not request Gmail access, and does not read Google email. If you request an AI feature that needs connected event details, the relevant details may be sent to the AI provider you configured solely to provide that feature.
We do not use information received from Google Workspace APIs for advertising, sell it, or use it to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models. Ativra’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and your controls
We retain information while it is needed to provide Ativra or until you delete it. Disconnecting Google Calendar stops new access, removes the stored Google OAuth credentials, and removes provider calendars from Ativra. Notes or summaries you created using event details remain until you delete them. Deleting your Ativra account removes its cloud data, subject to limited security, legal, and backup retention. Local data on your Mac remains under your control.
Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure. We may update this policy as Ativra changes and will update the effective date above.
